Winter is the time for stars in the Hanseatic City of Stralsund! This year we installed twenty-five illuminated stars over seven metres in diameter throughout the city’s districts to transform Stralsund into a city of stars.
The giant stars will sparkle in all the colours of the rainbow and bring joy to the hearts of passers-by until 2 February.

Stroll along Stralsund’s trail of stars: the luminescent stars are a great photo motif and a popular walking destination for people of all ages. The exact locations of all giant stars and smaller stars are indicated on the map below. We hope you will take the time to explore the city and visit each and every star.
